The Government of Balochistan, Planning and Development Department has announced a vacancy for Project Director for the PSDP-funded project titled “Implementation of Hub City Master Plan”. The position will be filled on a contract basis according to the Project Director's appointment policy.

Qualification and Experience

Education: Candidates must have a minimum of 16 years of education with specialization in a relevant field from an HEC-recognized institution. The advertisement accepts qualifications in the following disciplines:

• BS/BE in Engineering with registration with PEC.
• Project Management.
• MBA / MPA / MPP.
• Master's or 4-year BS degree in Economics.
• Other relevant fields.

Experience: Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in rural and urban planning, infrastructure development, project management and relevant development projects in the public and private sectors.

Candidates must have sound knowledge of project planning and implementation processes, particularly the Government of Pakistan's project planning and management procedures. Relevant experience as a Project Director in the public sector in Balochistan will be an added advantage.

Age Limit

The minimum age is 40 years and the maximum age is 62 years as of the date of appointment.

Contract Period

The Project Director will be appointed on a contract basis for an initial period of two years. The contract may be extended on a yearly basis subject to satisfactory performance and completion of the project.
