Qualification and Experience
- Qualification: B.E. Civil Engineering with PEC Registration and 16 years of education.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional experience in infrastructure.
- Candidates must have demonstrable experience in project management, project implementation or a relevant field.
- Experience in public-sector project planning and management processes and procedures is required.
- Applicants must have knowledge of the project life cycle.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit is 62 years on the closing date of application.
Contract and Salary
- The appointment will initially be made for two years.
- The contract may be extended on a yearly basis subject to satisfactory performance and the requirements of the project, on the recommendation of the sponsoring department.
- The salary package will be as per PPS-9 in accordance with the applicable Finance Division and Project Director's Policy notifications mentioned in the advertisement.
Terms of Reference
The Project Director will be responsible for ensuring effective project monitoring to prevent time and cost overruns and for establishing procedures for progress review.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Submit prescribed reports with actionable recommendations.
- Coordinate and work harmoniously with stakeholders.
- Maintain custody of project documents.
- Prepare PC-I to IV reports.
- Provide timely information on prescribed proformas.
- Remain accountable for administrative, functional and financial decisions.
- Supervise project activities.
- Resolve day-to-day issues within delegated powers.
- Seek assistance from relevant authorities when required.
