Job Responsibilities
- Lead and ensure implementation of the policies of the Government, decisions of the Board and directions issued by the Health Department.
- Manage the administration, operations and functions of the hospital in an effective and efficient manner.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of administrative, clinical and technical staff.
- Act as the Principal Accounting Officer responsible for the management of the hospital, utilization of funds, audit matters and maintenance of assets.
- Prepare and present gap analysis reports for hospital infrastructure, training needs assessment and improvement of healthcare service delivery.
- Develop strategic and operational plans for review and approval by the Board of Governors.
- Provide leadership to senior management and ensure smooth day-to-day administrative affairs.
- Coordinate meetings, maintain official records and ensure implementation of decisions.
