The High Court of Balochistan has announced 15 vacancies for the post of Additional District & Sessions Judge (BPS-20) in the Balochistan District Judiciary through initial recruitment under the Balochistan Judicial Officers Service Rules, 2021.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates having a Local/Domicile Certificate of Balochistan. Both male and female candidates are eligible.

Qualification and Experience

For candidates applying as Advocates, the advertisement requires a Law Graduate degree from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission and at least 7 years of practice as an Advocate.

Candidates holding a Judicial Office or serving as a Law Officer in BPS-18 or above must have at least 10 years of service, as defined in Rule 2(t) of the Balochistan Judicial Officers Service Rules, 2021.

Age Limit

The age limit for the position is 30 to 45 years.

Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply.

• Verified educational testimonials from the concerned Board/University
• Attested and verified Balochistan Local/Domicile Certificate
• Attested CNIC
• Fresh passport-size photograph
• Valid Lower Court practicing Licence
• Valid High Court practicing Licence
• Fresh Experience Certificate issued by the concerned Bar Council
• For in-service candidates, fresh Service Certificate/NOC issued by the concerned Head of Department
• Previous appointment orders/notifications where applicable

Examination and Syllabus

The syllabus and application forms can be obtained from the Examination Cell, Administration Branch, High Court of Balochistan, Quetta, or downloaded from the official High Court website.

The examination schedule will be announced later. Eligible candidates will be able to collect their date sheet and roll number slips from the Examination Cell, Administration Branch, one week before the examination date.

No TA/DA will be admissible.
