The High Court of Balochistan has announced 60 vacancies for the post of Judicial Magistrate-cum-Civil Judge (BPS-18) in the Balochistan District Judiciary through initial recruitment under the Balochistan Judicial Officers Service Rules, 2021.

Applications are invited from eligible male and female candidates holding a Local/Domicile Certificate of Balochistan.

Qualification and Experience

Candidates must be a Law Graduate from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan or a Barrister of England and Ireland.

Applicants must also meet one of the following experience requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as an Advocate/Lawyer; or
• In the case of a Law Officer holding a regular BPS-17 or above post, at least 2 years of service to their credit, as defined in Rule 2(v) of the Balochistan Judicial Officers Service Rules, 2021.

Age Limit

The age limit is 23 to 35 years in accordance with Rule 13 of the Balochistan Judicial Officers Service Rules, 2021.

Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply.

• All verified educational testimonials from the concerned Board/University
• Attested and verified Balochistan Local/Domicile Certificate
• Attested CNIC
• Fresh passport-size photograph
• Valid Lower Court Licence
• Valid High Court Licence, if any
• Fresh experience certificate issued by the concerned Bar Council
• For in-service candidates, fresh Service Certificate/NOC from the concerned Head of Department along with previous appointment orders/notifications

Applicants must upload legible scanned copies of the required documents along with their online application. Applications submitted through any other mode will not be entertained.

The closing date for receipt of application forms is 15 October 2026.

Written Test

The written test schedule will be announced after scrutiny of applications. Eligible candidates can collect their date sheet and roll number slips from the Examination Cell of the Administration Branch of the High Court of Balochistan one week before the examination date, which will be announced and published later.

The syllabus can be collected from the Examination Cell, Administration Branch, High Court of Balochistan, Quetta, or downloaded from the official High Court website.

No TA/DA will be admissible.
